One Work record
A customer reports a leak. Keep their request, your site notes and the agreed work together, so you do not have to piece it all back together at invoice time.
Customer details and the reported leak stay together. The owner chooses whether to inspect, quote or ask for more information.
View full-size imageAfter the repair, Solo checks the completion record and flags the next invoice-preparation step. The owner reviews it; no invoice is sent automatically.
View full-size imageAfter reviewing the invoice and checking the bank transfer, the owner records payment. The same job remains available as history.

01 / Capture
Record the customer, the leak and the site. Add photos and notes to the same job as you learn more.
02 / Review
Ask Bud to prepare a reply or quote draft from the recorded facts. Check scope and price before approving customer-facing content.
03 / Finish
Record the work done and review the invoice. When the customer pays by bank transfer, record the receipt yourself.
Capture the request, customer, site, source and next owner decision without splitting the job across tools.
Prepare scope and quote drafts from recorded facts, with internal costs and customer-facing information kept apart.
See what was promised, schedule site work and surface conflicts before another commitment is made.
Return photos, notes, variations and completion evidence to the same Work record while the details are fresh.
Carry reviewed work outcomes into an invoice basis instead of recreating billable work at the end of the day.
Ask, organise and prepare. Novel customer-facing content is not sent until an authorised person reviews it.
Trade starting points
TradesBud maintains engineering-validated starting packs for common New Zealand trade families. They shape capture, review and evidence prompts without locking every job into one rigid template.
These are maintained product starting points, not a claim that every job type or regulated workflow is complete. Generic and manual paths remain available, and regulated documents still require the appropriately authorised person.
Pricing
Both plans keep your customers and work together. Solo adds ongoing preparation, so you spend less time checking what needs attention. You still approve the decisions.
Finish the repair, review your notes and prepare the invoice yourself. Bud remains available when you ask for help.
Bud checks completed work and brings the invoice-preparation step to your attention. You still review the details, issue the invoice and confirm receipt of payment.
Solo Free
NZ$0
You run the work. Bud helps when you ask. No expiry.
Solo
Ex GST. Cancel anytime.
Included credits reset every 30 days. Your account shows the reset date. Optional prepaid top-ups do not change your edition.
An optional, separately billed NZ service being introduced under its own availability and spend controls.
Optional Phone Office
Phone Agent is being introduced as a controlled add-on. Its job is to capture a provisional enquiry and hand it into TradesBud, not improvise technical advice, pricing or promises.
Availability depends on a qualified local line and workspace configuration. Work Management does not require Phone Agent.
Common questions
Your 30-day Solo experience starts when you create or confirm your first current Work. Importing only past records or receiving an unattended enquiry does not start it. Registration alone does not consume it. No card is required.
Keep managing your work on Solo Free, or choose Solo for NZ$19/month plus GST. Your existing work is not locked when you return to Free. Continuous Bud preparation is a Solo feature.
Bud prepares customer-facing drafts for your review. You approve the scope, price and commitments. Buying more AI credits does not give Bud permission to make those decisions.
No. Work management is available without Phone Agent. Phone is an optional, separately billed service with its own local-line availability and setup requirements.
You can continue manual work, wait for the next allowance or buy optional credits. Both plans currently include the same file storage allowance; Solo primarily adds continuous Bud assistance, not more storage.
